A kitten walked alone,
down the street with bare feet
On a cold stone,
She smiled so sweet
Suddenly she tumbled in a cold wind that just blew,
to the left, to the right
At a place she never knew,
there was a fisher standing in her eye sight
The fisher, he stood so still,
with his hand holding a fish tight
The kitten stared at his face until,
she noticed his eyes were so bright
“Hi, I’m the kindest fisher” A greeting he gave
He stroked her back and touched her feet
“If you be mine and you behave,
I will give you the fish as your wonderful treat!”
The fish?
That was not the kitten’s wish
“Sorry” said the kitten as she kept walking on
When the fisher blinked, at once she was gone
...
Without any fish, the kitten walked alone,
down the street with bare feet
On the same cold stone,
She smiled so sweet
Suddenly she tumbled in a cold wind that just blew
to the left, to the right
At a place she never knew,
there was a baker standing in her eyesight
The baker, he stood so still,
with his hand holding a knish tight
The kitten stared at his face until,
she noticed his eyes were so bright
“Hi, I’m the kindest baker” A greeting he gave
He stroked her back and touched her feet
“If you be mine and you behave,
I will give you the knish as your wonderful treat!”
The knish?
That was not the kitten’s wish
“Sorry” said the kitten as she kept walking on
When the baker blinked, at once she was gone
...
Without any knish, the kitten walked alone,
down the street with bare feet
On the same cold stone,
She smiled so sweet
Suddenly she tumbled in a cold wind that just blew
to the left, to the right
At a place she never knew,
There was a wizard standing in her eyesight
The wizard, he stood so still,
with his hand holding a wand tight
The kitten stared at his face until,
she saw his eyes were so bright
“Hi, I’m the kindest wizard” A greeting he gave
He stroked her back and touched her feet
“If you be mine and you behave,
I will give you a wish as your wonderful treat!”
Not the fish, not the knish,
but love was the kitten’s wish
“Could you give me love?” asked the kitten with a voice so thrill
“Of course! Come ride my broom.” he said “I promise I will”
With all her trust, the kitten jumped on
When the wand was swang, at once they were gone
…
Above the sky, the broom flew high,
Above the sky, a thunder’s nigh
The kitten was so scared,
the wild ride, she was unprepared
The wind blew of his two ears,
was when her face covered with tears
“Let me down!” the kitten cried
But silence, was what the wizard replied
Thousand words, cried with fear
But none, he could hear
The moment he gave a creepy smile,
she realized the wish he promised was just a wile
The wizard brought out the golden cage,
with a face distorted with rage
Hundred clouds they passed by,
the kitten jumped off and fell down the sky
When the kitten woke up, her body laid on a kitchen’s floor.
With her eyes widely opened, she saw an opened door
By the time she tried to run out with the body looking dusty,
the sky above turned so gusty
...
Suddenly she tumbled in a cold wind that just blew,
to the left, to the right
At a place she already knew,
the wizard in her dream was standing in her eyesight
On his feet he stood so still,
with his hand holding a stick so tight
The kitten stared at his face until,
she saw his eyes had no light
“What a naughty kitten!” A loud voice he gave
“Oh! Why do you always misbehave?”
“Look at your dirty back and your dirty feet”
“This stick will swish as your wonderful treat!”
Not the fish, not the knish, not the swish,
but love was the kitten’s only wish
Meowed the kitten with a voice so shrill
“Of course! Lock you in my room. I promise I will”
The white window sill, the kitten jumped on
When the stick was about to swing, at once she was gone
A kitten walked alone,
down the street with bare feet
On a cold stone,
Her smile was so bittersweet
